Mrs Ali Bradley Head of Little Stream

Little Stream has 190 children, aged between 5and 9.  There are ten classes altogether, two in Year 1, two in Year 2 and three in Years 3 and 4 following an entry of 20 new children, aged 7, into Year 3.

Little Stream aims to generate an enthusiasm for learning and to provide the opportunity to experience a wide range of activities; where all children can achieve success in a happy, caring environment.

The main emphasis continues to be on literacy and numeracy and the development of these skills through the challenges provided in other subject areas. 

Form teachers are responsible for most areas of the curriculum, but we have specialist teachers for Science, French, Music and P.E.  The pupil/teacher ratio is 10:1 with Classroom Assistants in each year group giving additional support.  Special Needs staff are available to provide help where appropriate.

Parents are always welcome in Little Stream and Form Teachers value the daily contact.  We aim to  work in partnership with parents to achieve each child's full potential.
