Design Technology is taught as a separate subject in Upper School.  The department has one full-time and one part-time teacher and a technician.

	Having been shown how to use tools and machines safely, students work in a fully equipped workshop.
After designs have been completed in the Lecture Room, often on computer, the children eagerly get on to making their ideas a reality.
	There are usually two adults on hand to supervise and support the children while whole class demonstrations allow able students to progress quickly.
