Year 4 have been learning about the Anglos Saxons. We had a day when all Year 4 children dressed up as Anglo Saxons and spent their time trying out a variety of tasks and activities. | There were lots of activities to try out in the Canterbury cathedral workshop. | | Year 4 all dressed up as representatives of the early mission which brought Christianity to England. |
 | | | Year 4 all spend a morning at Battle to bring the events of 1066 to life. On this occasion, though, the mud seemed to conquer rather than William and the Normans. |
| The Education Centre of Canterbury Cathedral showed the children many of the skills required by medieval builders and allowed them to attempt the tasks themselves. | |
 | Our School Chaplain, Mr Bennett showed pupils around St. Dunstan's Church in Cranbrook. They looked at the life and events in the Church to understand Christianity in the modern world more fully. | | Anglo Saxon Day led to many new skills being learned. | |
